Squads

Squads let you organise objects by team so that each squad can focus on their slice of the product work without noise from other teams.

Creating Squads

Go to Settings → Squads to create and manage squads for your workspace. Each squad needs a name (e.g. "Growth", "Platform", "Mobile"). Squads are workspace-scoped — all workspace members see all squads.

Assigning Squads to Objects

Almost every object type in Compass supports squad assignment:

• Objectives — Assign during creation or in the objective detail panel
• Opportunities — Assign on the discovery card or in the opportunity detail panel
• Experiments — Assign in the experiment detail panel
• Roadmap Items — Assign during creation or in the roadmap item detail

When you assign an object to a squad, it appears in that squad's filtered view.

Filtering by Squad

Every section page (OKRs, Discovery, Experiments, Roadmap, Feedback) shows a squad filter bar at the top. Click a squad name to filter the page to only show objects assigned to that squad. Click again to deselect. Filters stack — you can select multiple squads at once.

The filter selection persists for the duration of your session but resets on reload. Squad filters affect only what you see — they do not change the underlying data.
